Free while we’re in early access
Every audit category is unlocked and there is nothing to pay — three scans a day, no account required. Paid plans with higher limits will come later.
Three scans per day, every category unlocked
- Full performance audit with Core Web Vitals from Google PageSpeed Insights
- Technical SEO — titles, meta, headings, canonical tags, structured data
- Accessibility — alt text, contrast, labels, screen-reader support
- Best practices — HTTPS, broken links, console errors, outdated libraries
- All issues, not just a top-five preview — the whole list is yours
- Share any report with a link, export as PDF
Rate limit: three scans per IP address per day, resetting at midnight UTC. No account required.
Paid plans with higher limits and priority support are coming later. Anything you scan now stays free — this is not a trial and we will not charge you retroactively. The terms of service set out what that commitment covers.
Questions, answered
- Is it really free right now?
- Yes. Every feature is unlocked during early access — all four audit categories, every issue we find, sharing and PDF export. The only limit is three scans per IP address per day.
- Will you charge for scans I ran during early access?
- No. This is not a trial — anything you scan now stays free forever. When paid plans launch, you will keep everything you already have.
- When will paid plans launch?
- We do not have a date yet. We want to gather feedback from early users first, so the plans reflect what people actually need rather than what we guessed before launch.
- Why three scans per day?
- Each scan costs us real money — Google’s PageSpeed Insights API, server time and outbound bandwidth. The daily limit keeps the service sustainable for everyone while we are in early access. Paid plans will offer higher limits.
- What if I need to check more than three pages?
- The limit is on full site audits, not on the single-purpose tools. The free tools are unmetered — you can check meta tags, indexability, Core Web Vitals, robots.txt or a sitemap on as many URLs as you like, with no daily cap and no account. The audit is the expensive part because it crawls; a single-URL check is one HTTP request.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Paste a URL and the audit runs — no email, no card, no verification step. Signing in exists only so your past scans are kept and so a shared report keeps working; it unlocks nothing extra. Nothing in the report is held back behind a form, which is the part most free SEO checkers get wrong.
- How does this compare to the paid tools?
- Honestly: it does not replace them. There is no rank tracking, no backlink index and no keyword research here, and if those are what you need then Ahrefs or Semrush are the right purchase. What this does do is the technical and on-page audit — the part those tools charge a monthly subscription for and most sites only need to look at occasionally. We compare the free checkers side by side including the cases where the answer is not us.
- Who is behind this, and what can I use today?
- SiteFaults is built by one developer — read why it exists and what it deliberately does not do. Nothing is gated in the meantime: the free website SEO check runs the full audit on any URL right now, no account needed.
